Dear SACP members,
Thank you for your participation in the selection of the keynote for our next conference.
I am pleased to inform you that Professor Hei-Sook Kim, who is professor of philosophy and also current president of Ehwa Womans University, Seoul, Korea, has agreed to deliver a keynote speech at the SACP 2020. I very much look forward to hearing her speech.
The due date for the submission of the proposal is February 15, 2020. I hope that many of you can join the conference at the University of San Francisco.
Let me take this opportunity to thank the members of the SACP.
My term as president ends by the end of this year and in January 1, 2020, Bryan Van Norden will begin his presidency.
It has been a great honor and privilege to serve the Society as President and I thank board members for their hard work and support.
I wish you all great holidays and happy new year.
Best wishes,
Jin

The Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy was established in 1967 as a non-profit organization aimed at advancing the development of the disciplines of Asian and comparative philosophy in the international academic arena, and bringing together Asian and Western philosophers, as well as other scholars interested in Asian and world philosophy, for a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas. The Society seeks to provide the professional outlet for philosophers doing work in non-Western and comparative areas of philosophy. The group serves as the largest and most well-known professional organization for scholars in the fields of Asian and global philosophy.
