Subject: SACP Listserv Announcement Regarding Recent Election Results SACP
Date: April 19th 2024

Dear esteemed members and colleagues,

As current President of the SACP, I extend my thanks to all of you who have participated in the recent election for open positions. It is with great pleasure that I announce the successful candidates.

Board Members:

- Dr. Chiara Robbiano (Utrecht University)

- Dr. Jea Sophia Oh (West Chester University)

Secretary:

- Dr. Jeremy Henkel (Ohio University)

Treasurer:

- Prof. Anand Vaidya (San Jose State University)

Vice-President (and subsequently President after one year):

- Dr. Geoffrey Ashton (University of San Fransisco)

Our newly elected colleagues will assume their responsibilities promptly, drawing upon the valuable insights of those who have previously served in these roles. Their incoming expertise and dedication will undoubtedly strengthen our collective efforts.

In light of recent changes to our election schedule, I will remain nominally in my position for the next year. This decision from the annual meeting allows us to benefit from Geoffrey Ashton's guidance as Vice-President for an additional year in advance of his Presidency. As you are aware Geoff has served excellently for several years as our Treasurer, and so no doubt we will be deferring to his expertise and overview of Society activities all the more moving forward.

I extend sincere appreciation to all who have offered their service in accepting nominations, as well as those who have worked hard to keep things going especially during the challenging global circumstances of recent years.

Lastly, I wish to express my personal gratitude to both our longstanding senior members, who have tirelessly contributed behind the scenes for very many years, and to our newer scholars who have recently engaged with the Society. Your collective efforts are pivotal in shaping the SACP's legacy.

Best wishes to all, near and far.

Warm regards,

Sarah Flavel

President, SACP

The Society seeks to provide the professional outlet for philosophers doing work in non-Western and comparative areas of philosophy.
