Dear Members of the SACP,
On behalf of the SACP Board of Directors, I email you to solicit nominations for SACP Vice-President for 2027 (beginning January 1) – 2028 (December 31). On January 1 2029, the VP will automatically transition to the role of SACP President until December 31 2030. In other words, this involves a 4-year commitment. At the end of this email is provided a description of the Vice-President and President roles.
We have already received some nominations at our annual conference Business Meeting (a few weeks ago in south India). Since not all members were present, we are opening this call for nominations to all SACP members. Kindly reply with your nominations by June 22nd, at which point we will proceed with next steps.
All the best,
Geoff
